The Colorful World of Piccoli Principi

Bright swimsuits for brighter lives

They say swimsuits are like fries, you can’t have just one! With another swimsuit season around the corner, Piccoli Principi is here to keep you up-to-date with the SS20 trends for a whimsical adventure from the beach to the pool and everywhere in between.

Launched in the summer of 2017, Piccoli Principi is a contemporary children’s swimwear label based in The Sunshine State of Florida. The bright days and brighter nights of Miami are reflected in the clean lines and the ruffled fluorescence of the swimsuits. With a touch of sparkling poetry and sweetened fun, the gorgeously girly universe of Piccoli Prinicpi embraces the dreamy bright colors, especially Hot Pink.

Born and raised in Milan, the founder Lidia Colombo finds inspiration in her travel diary, full of memorable adventures with her husband. Using the Caribbean, the British Virgin Islands, Saint-Barthélemy, Saint Martin, Anguilla and Miami as her muse, Lidia created the brand by fusing the colors of the tropical islands with the quirks of her favorite book, The Little Prince.

For the SS20 collection, Piccoli Principi transports you to a different era filled with metallic and ruffled embellishments. Keeping the climate change and depletion of resources in mind, the collection is a balance between practicality and style. Taking into notice the ever-increasing worry over excess sun exposure, Lidia ensures her swimwear protects the delicate skin from the harmful ultraviolet rays. The fabric offers a certification of UPF50+ (ultraviolet protection factor), the best protection according to the international reference for sun protection.

With 10% of the plastic pollution in ocean coming from fishing nets, the brand uses Econyl®, a regenerated super resistant nylon fiber made from rescued fishing nets and various post-consumer nylon waste. The Oeko Tex certified Italian Econyl® Lycra is also hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin.
